The serene ambiance around the relaxing wellness centre was inviting.
Following our arrival, we were disappointed to discover that the Swahili evening we had eagerly booked was postponed, leaving us without that anticipated experience. the yoga class we were looking forward to was canceled without any prior notice, which made our afternoon plans disappointing. While our overall stay was relaxing, these hiccups, along with the inconvenience of steep stairs, dampened what could have been an exceptional retreat.

Staying at Banana House was truly a delight. The spacious King Suite with Sea View offered breathtaking views that captivated every morning. The ambiance in the beautifully landscaped tropical garden felt cozy yet open, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast brought a lovely touch with plenty of fresh fruits and choices like pancakes or the robust Swahili version. The staff were exceptional. they took care of our spontaneous excursions and ensured our every need was met. Experiencing the vibrant local culture felt seamless thanks to their recommendations. On the downside, the stairs leading up to our suite could be a workout, especially if you're not accustomed to climbing. this did not overshadow the wonderful time I had here.
